The presentation of "19" was held by Universal Music Russia in the Moscow club "Botanik". It was visited by Alsou's parents, representatives of Universal Music Russia - David Junk (the president, the man who signed Alsou and t.A.T.u), Denis Ingoldsby (new international manager), guests from BMG, Sony Music, journalists from newspapers, magazines, MTV-Russia, Muz-TV (another Russian music channel), and of course, all Alsou's team headed by Alexander Shevchenko and Vadim Baikov.
The party was visited by Alsou's first producer Valery Belotserkovsky too (now he works with a russian girls band "Love Stories"). The guests were able to listed to the songs from "19", the walls were decorated with the pictures of Alsou, and in the center of the hall they made a stage for a live performance.
The presentation began with a mini press conference. Alsou said she enjoys communicating with mass media. The representative of Universal Music Russia congratulated Alsou and said that the company is proud of her because she's the first russian artist they began to work with and thanks to her they became known in Russia.
The release of the album is a long-awaited event for Alsou. Work in the studio lasted 4-5 months but the whole album preparation took 3 years. Alsou said that 19 is not only her age, it is her state of soul and her feelings in this age.
The journalists were very interested in the future of Alsou's career, what auditory she counts on. Alsou answered that this album is for the Russian speaking public. But she doesn't divide her career in Russia and on the West. Like every artist she wants to have success all over the world, but even in the case of western success she will not forget about Russia and will release new Russian albums and perform in her home country.
Some journalists remarked that the new album is much more sad than the first Russian one. They asked if it is concerned with some personal tragedy in Alsou's life. Alsou answered that there is no tragedy, she's just a lyrical person and always loved slow lyrical songs. "When I write songs, they always come out sad." When she recorded her first Russian album, she was 15-16 years old girl, surrounded by talented people who helped, directed her way and found the songs. During the "19" production Alsou worked more independently and the new songs reflect her feeling much more.
After the press conference Alsou sang three songs - "Vchera", "Angel", "Perviy Paz". Then David Junk congratulated Alsou once more and said she's the most talented Russian singer indeed and he hopes the whole world will know it very soon.
The official part came to the end, but Alsou gave autographs and interviews for a long time after.
