Today is passing the third year of the official start of this site

 August 1, 2005 - New Alsou (jazz) song! - [Alsou news & Update]

On 25 July world famous guitarist Les Paul will release, following his 90 anniversary, the new album, in which he accompanies with stars of contemporary and preterite music.
Among the guests on album we will hear such stars like: Sting, Ritchie Sambora from rock band "Bon Jovi", Erik Clapton and.. Alsou!
Alsou duet song is called "How High The Moon", which originally had left on Les early albums and was a hit.
Album "Les Paul and Friends: American Made, World Played " leaves on 30 August.
It will be released by company EMI/Capitol. This is the first new work of jazz master since 1978.

 August 1, 2005 - Spirit Trap soon in cinemas - [Alsou news]

On 16 August film "Spirit Trap" will be showed in five British movie theater chains. Spectators are honestly warn that the film includes nonstandard vocabulary, scenes of violence, blood, sex and adoption of narcotics.
Movie has got new logotype, new poster and official site, where there is the division about the actor's composition - www.spirittrap.co.uk.

Already there are the first opinions on the press about the film.
BBC in its review named Alsou "mysterious beauty with the Russian accent". On the site also started the competition whose winner can go (for free of course) to the particular showing of film with his friends. By the way, music for the picture wrote Guy Fletcher, an ex-participant in the group "Dire Straits", however the only music track in the film that was not made by him - is a well known by Alsou fans song "Teardrops". Yet so Alsou is present on the film soundtrack as I had informed before
PS: Pity that she's not with a new song as I counted.

The dates of Alsou concerts in Tatarstan has substantially changed and at the current time they appears as follows:

25 August Solo concert in Yelabuga city
26 August Three appearances in the composite concerts in Kazan
28 August Solo concert on the stadium in Aktanysh
30 August Appearance in the composite concert in Kazan

Kazan is having his 1000-anniversary this year.

Alsou has obtained two nominations in MTV Russian Music Awards 2005: for the "Best Singer" and the "Best Video".

I added new Alsou music video for download, it's Alsou hit single "Solo" an Eurovision song which gave her a second place in contest and a best selling single in Russia history. Earlier I added live version from Eurovision 2000. It's a great song so I assume it's good to have both videos.

 July 15, 2005 - Alsou soon in a Japanese Vogue - [Alsou news ]

On 14 July 2005 publishers of the Japanese version of journal "Vogue" plans to make a special division about Russia for the October number of their magazine.
Successful and well-known in all place women of Russia will be represented as the part of the declared topic on the pages of periodical.
Representatives of "Vogue" estimated Alsou as an ideal candidat, and yesterday she has gave an interview and shooted a mini-photosession for the periodical.

 July 15, 2005 - Tatarstan tour - [Alsou news]

On 2 June Vadim Baykov returned from Tatarstan, where he has conducted negotiations about the Alsou summer tour.
As a result of talks with the administrations she will perform in the following cities: Bavly, Yelabuga (on urban Maydana), Aktanysh (stadium), Chistopol (stadium), possibly Almetevsk, Leninogorsk or Nurlat. Also Alsou should be in Kazan.

One of last purchases which Alsou has done recently is Chinese dog named Snoop who lives in her London penthouse (beside famous Kennington cricket stadium).
The name Snoop he has received in a honour of famous American gangsta rapper Snoop Dogg

 May 21, 2005 - Alsou won Golden Bee award as the best singer! - [Alsou news]

19th May Alsou has won a "Golden Bee 2005" award on the nomination for the "Best Singer"! Congratulation Alsou!
Let me recall that the reward she has obtained is the Golden Statuette of the bee, on the wings it has 16 diamonds and its value exceeds 6000 dollars.

Yes this time Nelly and Alsou will perform together on the concert tour. After supporting Westlife tour in UK, Alsou will support American rapper on his British stage.
Tour is planned already in June and it should contain concerts in at last 5 citys. It isn't difficult to predict what song they will sing together for the crowd ("Wish I Didn't Know").

 May 21, 2005 - Alsou Maxim June session preview! - [News]

Just look at the preview of the magazine Gonna be very hot, wet (?) and sexy session I will add high quality full session scans as soon as possible.

Few words about session shooting process, in order to run this photosession specialists from popular magazine Maxim had to left to London, to the city where Alsou lives. Next they prevailed Muslim girl to session and specifed her "degree of an openness".
"The type of bathing suit, for example," tells Maxim editor Aleksandr Malenkov - Alsou wanted this to be something more sport, closed. No strings and frank brassieres.
For shootings rented a film studio. They established black plastic fabric - for creating the background. Also have started Rhine-machine. Therefore the sensation was created, that the girl sits in the rain. Alsou and the truth wet, sitting on firm cold plastic, for 6 hours. Certainly, we cannot admit, that our hero has caught a cold! Therefore have driven in studio thermal guns - the huge fans forcing warm air. Also have weakened and have warmed with glasses of champagne and generous man's compliments from a shooting-making brigade.
Although after that modest singer could sit down more freely. But the most frank Alsou pictures nevertheless wasn't released to print - "we have hidden them in safe to secret bank". And without them in fresh, June, number of the magazine it is possible to notice a charming tattoo on the left hip of the singer.  May 21, 2005 - Alsou wrote new song in Tatar language - [Alsou news]

Alsou wrote down a new song in Tatar language. It's titled "1000 years live, Kazan" and it is timed to the appropriate anniversary, dedicated to the 1000 anniversary of Kazan.
Alsou with her crew will travel around the large cities of Tatarstan and certainly will give a concert in her native Bugulma.
