It's likely that Alsou's duet with Nelly will become first single from her second English album "Inspired". Alsou told about it in her interview to "Vogue", taken during her February visit to Moscow. She also told they will shoot a video on this song. "I've always wanted to record something vigorous, club. So I wrote the song and sent it to Nelly. I waited long for the answer, thought it wouldn't work. Everybody knows, how capricious Nelly is - he even refused to perform with Madonna. But he liked my song for some reason". We already know a title of Alsou's international album, approaching new English-language album gonna have a name: "Inspired". Such information was told by her to MTV Russia journalists during her party in Moscow (more about party in news below). Also as Alsou said "Inspired" will be released this spring

One of the songs on the album will be the duet with rapper Nelly, Alsou told about that 2 days ago in Russian MTV. Previously there were a rumours about Alsou duet with other famous rapper Eminem.

Besides, soon Alsou will release DVD with all her clips!

PS - wow can't wait for this DVD, I hope it will be released in my country

Having said "Welcome" to everyone, Alsou sat neaw her table and was attacked by the journalists. During an hour she answered their questions and smiled to the cameras.

The solemn part of the meeting began with the speech of Alexander Shevchenko, Alsou's general manager who congratulated the guests and offered to look how it all began.
On the huge monitor they have shown a clip about Alsou, including all the main events of her life that have happened through the last 5 years, beginning from "Zimniy Son" shooting and ending with Official Fan-club opening.

Alsou then said that in some moments the tears appeared on her eyes. Alsou has thanked her Fan-club, and then there was a clip about it.

Alsou has performed "Zimniy Son" in a new arrangement and a cover-version of Lionel Richie's "Hello".

She talked about her plans to the nearest future. Soon her DVD with all the clips will be released. The international English album "Inspired" will be released this spring; some tracks are fast, some are lyrical ballads, and one song has a rock sounding.

Then all the guests danced. The Fan-club has chosen a moment to congratulate Alsou with a present and a beautiful rose bouquet. Alsou has cut a huge pie, the guests applaused and tasted it. The party was finished after the midnight. Source: alsou-club.ru

Some AFP visitors had trouble downloading Alsou videos and asked me why their transfer has stoped during download. Well it may happen sometimes because server might be overloaded by too many transfers at one time. Solution? To avoid such download problem please use download managers like: Getright or Flashget they should solve all your problems because this programs has transfer auto-resume function. Also server admin asked not to download more then 2 videos at the same.

Here you can read a 4 most interesting, translated to English:

- Alsou, you said that the directions of your new album has changed. Can you tell more? Asya Kalyasina (the marketing director of "Universal Music Russia") said your album will be in the style of Sade and Celine Dion.

Alsou: I can't say the direction will change radically. The biggest change is the fact that almost all the songs are written by me, almost all the arrangements are made with my participation. There are R'n'B songs, there are songs with harder sound, but I won't leave my favorite ballads. You will hear it soon by yourself!

- Alsou, what do you have on your discman now? What your album or single have you listened to last time?

Alsou: I often listen to my new songs, to be sure I'm satisfied with everything there, if not - to work more on the song and to bting it up to perfection. Last several months I always have the last CD of Christina Aguilera, and I like it very much.

- Dear Alsou! Are you going to play a main role in the movie?

Alsou: There are plans to shoot in a movie. I have started to read the screenplay. It is an English film, it will be shooted all February. I will have on of the main roles.

- Tell me, when will you shoot a new video and on what song?

Alsou: I suspect that the next video will be shooted on the first single form the new English album. I don't know yet, what song will it be.

United shares rally on Russian link

Shares in Manchester United advanced today as a Russian oil mogul became the latest millionaire to be linked with a bid for the Premiership champions.

A report said Ralif Safin, one of the founders of Russia's largest oil company Lukoil, had contacted a London-based investment bank about a possible offer for the club.

Rumours of a move for United by a mystery Russian businessman have circulated in the City for months following the takeover of Chelsea by Roman Abramovich, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Shares in the Premiership table-toppers rose 3 per cent to stand 8.25p ahead at 264.25p as the markets added Mr Safin to a list of potential suitors that includes Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner Malcolm Glazer and racing tycoons JP McManus and John Magnier.

The club will not comment on any takeover speculation but one city analyst played down the likelihood of a firm offer for the club from Safin, whose 20-year-old daughter Alsou is a Russian pop star.

Henk Potts, of Barclays stockbrokers, said: 'Given how far Manchester United shares have moved this year and considering that the big players have strengthened their positions, Mr Safin would have to pay an absolute fortune to take over the club.'

Safin first contacted London bankers several months ago but decided to wait until after Russia's elections before making a move, according to the report.

However, the City expects any takeover of United to be launched by either Glazer or Cubic Expression - the investment vehicle of McManus and Magnier.

Mr Glazer upped his stake in the club to 14.3 per cent last month while Cubic Expression holds more than 24 per cent after making a number of purchases this year, including buying out the interest of BSkyB.

Alsou will probably act one of the main characters in a new movie about philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. Movie will have many fiction elements. All the characters will be real, but the whole story is a little fiction. Alsou will play a girl, with whom Nietzsche was madly in love. We don't know yet about details, anyway director of this movie is from Hollywood, but film will be made without such large budget however with a very deep story. Alsou will shoot her role in a next year (2004) but there isn't yet know a specific date. As we know Alsou release her new English-language album in January 2004, together with a first single promotion. (Alamar: however single assuredly will be at first)

I even doubled the last record (a little more and I would triple ) I'm not sure about which added galleries I should mention, hmm.. This way Alsou made a big present for her parents, as "Ufimskiye Lipy" ("The Linden Of Ufa") is the song of their youth. Part of the song is in Bashkirian language (Alsou's father is from Bashkortostan Republic, and Ufa is it's capital), the other part has been translated to Russian. The song is already in the playlists of Russian radiostations, and the secretly shooted video will soon be played on TV.

Yup yay, below I have a very fresh news for all Alsou fans It's confirmed by MTV Russia.

Alsou has recorded the duet for the song "Living On A Prayer". At 19 October Alsou and John Bon Jovi wrote down the joint composition "Living On A Prayer". Work had place in a personal studio of John Bon Jovi, located in a neighborhood with his house in New Jersey. The producer of song became the Obey Brion, the old friend of John Bon Jovi, with whom they work together already 25 years. Alsou were in New Jersey at noon, and the record with vocals engaged the pair of hours.

Alsou since childhood was fan of Bon Jovi's group and the song "Living On A Prayer" is one of her most loved. This mega-hit, once shaken the world by the power and has brought to group world popularity, has been executed by John and Alsou in a romantic and touching manner. Alsou has added in it a part of the personal sensations, and also helped the sound-engineer to achieve the necessary sounding. Song will leave on the album of Bon Jovi group "This Left Feels Right" in Russia, and also will go on sale as a single in Russia, the countries CIS and the East Europe. At present are negotiated the shootings for a clip to this duet.

"This Left Feels Right" will consist of the most known songs during the twenty-year history of group. This plate is the most unusual in Bon Jovi's career - familiar This plate is most uncommon in the familiar stadionne hymns and powerful ballads appearing here in the new form. The world release of a disk is planned to 3 November 2003.

Alsou is finishing the work on her second English album. Her self-written song "Teardrops" re-recorded before in USA, is awaited to be a heading track. Now Alsou has left for USA to participate in a loud project (what this project will be is kept in secret, Alsou is going to open everything when she comes back to Moscow). But now we can say that this project is going to become a serious break-through of the Russian female singer to the Western pop-market

PS - Hmm.. let me guess, maybe it will be some duet with other pop star? Who what might be, Whitney Houston? or maybe Mariah Carey? We'll see

16th Alsou met with her fans in Moscow, the official part of the meeting was dedicated to the foundation of Alsou's International Official Fan-club. AnnA admin of official Alsou website became Fan-club president. During the unofficial part Alsou just talked with fans. She told how the work on the English album goes, and answered the questions. At the end Alsou performed some new English songs and older hits from her repertoire. She also told many interesting things about forthcoming album, below info about article and interview from this event.

At 29th September 2003 Alsou met Mariah Carey in Moscow where she have been on tour and participated in Tafy Awards of the Academy of Television. At 10 September Alsou were guest in "Stars Factory" show. I watched only fragments of this program and her live acoustic performance of her new song "Love Me". First she were talking with participants together with her general manager Aleksandr Shevchenko. Next participants started to sing (as single person ) some songs in presence of Alsou. At the end happent this what we were waiting for Alsou performed a new song from her upcoming internationial album, "Love Me". Performance was completely acoustic and beside singing she were playing on piano (she recorded piano demo of this song a long ago, exactly: August 30th 2002). Her performence was really excellent and the song "Love Me" was beautiful

For this who don't know or don't remember, I remind, Alsou new international English album will be (anyway is planned to be) released before the end of this year

Before rehearsal Alsou had slept off and refreshed appeared in hall at 17:00. Rehearsal lasts 40-50 minutes.
At concert Alsou performed 21 song including "Happy Birthday" for her mom who had her birthday a day before.
Alsou was joking and smiling. The concert last 1 hour and 40 minutes. On concert were Alsou family beside Marat (her older brother).
At the end of concert Alsou changed her clothes and left scene to give out autographs together with Shevchenko (her general manager).

In to the circle of close friends and relatives Alsou noted her 20 birthday. About 160 guests, including Alsou friends from England and America, were gathered on 27 June in one of the Moscow restaurants.
Alsou was dressed in the beautiful yellow dress.
Also in this evening took place the premier of the song, which Alsou wrote in the English specially for her mom.
The confusion occurred at the height of party in the hall: to congratulate Alsou arrived itself Stephen Siegal, this was sequential surprise for the celebrant. Famous film actor left the scene in order to congratulate celebrant and to wish to her creative successes and popularity.
The appearance of enormous chocolate cake with 20 candles became the culmination of evening.

At 2 June Alsou obtained the star of "Autos-Radio". This is how she commented the presentation to the prize: "Generally any reward is very pleasant. But when it comes from radio station, it is even more pleasant because people in essence listen to radio. This is the index of success, love of people for me, for my creation, therefore this is, of course, honor for me".

Furthermore, Alsou was asked with a new details about the western album: "Now is the process of recording the second English-language album. Songs in my view are still very good. Especially as to each I refer in the writing. It will have slow songs, it will have them even more then in rapid style, style a little bit has changed, guitar music, living sounding and it might be slighty more rigid then my first english album.

Alsou have been again chosen as the best singer in Russia. She competed with a russian star Alla Pugacheva and Valerie but Alsou is the winner She was called out by Igor Krutov as "Most tender, most beautiful, dearest girl in the world". Alsou won as a prize symbolic silver plate with the gold sphere, fastened to it. Congratz! Aleksandr Shevchenko bringt bottles with champagne so that all could drink for the victory Ceremony took place in Moscow in "SK Olympic". It was watched live by 25 thousend of people and it's gonna be broadcasted in russian TV

I got a little more news about Alsou new album. 95% of the new forthcoming international album songs are or will be written by Alsou individual or in co-authorship. On the album we will probably also find Alsou song about her mother and new version of her song "Teardrops". Album might have also songs "Everybody" and "Love Me" (the piano demo was recorded by Alsou August 30th 2002).
